When full sentences and complete ideas don't always make sense, sometimes all you need are a few words and things.

It's Been a While
Hey everyone, it's been a long time.
Part of lack is a lack of significant creativity on my part, and part of that is the fact that I've been busy from 10am to 10pm basically everyday since I've returned to school, and I haven't had the time to sit down and write.
Right now I find myself sitting idle with a rare 20 minutes to myself before I head off to work in the Computer Lab at my school. I'm in the library, and the guy sitting two seats to my left is wearing a t-shirt with a v neck that is just a little too deep, and a touch too much cologne (I can smell him from here).
It's a beautiful warm New England afternoon. A nice break from the cold, dreary weather the past couple of days. And I don't just mean the weather. A close friend of mine had a close call on the weekend when he drank too much, and had to go to the hospital.. That put a dampener on things.
To some of the things that I've been thinking about lately:
Facebook changed its look (again) today. Everybody seems to hate it. I don't remember the last time that the ever-evolving social network made a change that was actually met with gratitude and not disdain. Unless the appreciate crowd is just a little quieter these days..
Windows 8 is slated to release by Q4 2012, which is really exciting to a tech-nut like myself. It's supposed to run on various platforms (phones, tablets, PCs) and -- if successful -- could really streamline the way we process and synthesize information (the way Facebook keeps trying to).
On the psychological side -- those who know me know I probably think more than I should -- I've been doing a lot of analysis recently on body language and the relationship between facial, body, and verbal language. It's fascinating. There's another book I've had my eye on for a while that I plan on getting around to reading if I ever get some more free time. I'll try to let you know about it.
There. I think that ought to make up for some missed time :)
